Inter-House Napkin Fold Competition Organised in SDCHM
Napkin folding is a creative art. Cloth Napkin are well folded, and after giving a shape, they are kept at the centre or at the side of the cover laid on the table which is used by a guest during their dining. To develop this creativity in our students, an Inter-house Napkin Fold Competition was held at Sunder Deep College of Hotel Management on 16th February 2019. All together there were 20 participants (5 participants from each house) who took part in this event. A number of students from BHMCT, B. Sc. H&HA and Diploma courses of different semesters showcased their skills by creating different types of serviette folds. The event started at 12: 00 Noon. 15 minutes was allotted to each team. Each participant of every house had to make 2 folds. Mr. Prakash Chandra Pandey coordinated the event. The judging was done by Mr. Sandeep Verma and Ms. Sukhpreet Singh. Lastly, the Judging committee declared the result for the competition in which Sheraton House was the event winner and the 2nd and 3rd positions were awarded to Hyatt House and Oberoi House. Event was organized under the guidance of Director of the college Prof. R L Sahu.
