40 Acres Campus

A sprawling campus of about 40 acres has been meticulously planned in number of functional blocks separated by lush green grass lawns . The campus has been designed and developed with aesthetic sense in an eco friendly environment. It has come up as a self-contained academic complex with all the required facilities of infrastructure including L.C.D/O.H.P fitted lecture halls, Tutorial rooms , separate offices for HODs and faculty members besides the magnificent office for the Director of the colleges. All the classrooms are spacious, airy, well-lit and properly ventilated with modern furniture for students to provide the students a study soothing atmosphere.

All the basic amenities like pure drinking water, medical aid , canteen , electricity , power back up(Power gen-sets) and communication facilities, gymnasium and sports grounds etc. have been provided.

Classes & Moot Court

The college is equipped with Moot Court, Legal Cell, seminar hall and separate common rooms for boys and girls. The institute has highly sophisticated library, Library plays a significant role in pursuit of academic excellence. Mission of SDCL is in achieving excellence in research, learning, teaching and other organizational objectives, by providing scholarly information resources, emerging technologies and support for research and educational activities.

SDCL in view of its aims and objectives has a separate and spacious library for Law, in its premises and is updated frequently, by not only meeting the requirements of the curriculum but also with high quality scholarly resource materials, both in print as well as in digital formats.

As of now it has excellent collection of text books, reference books and law reports covering a wide range of general and special subjects.

The library provides for e resources and databases, Manupatra are some noteworthy on-line sources. which satisfies the practical and research need of the students.

The different sections of library have been fully automated through e-institute management system. The online web journal facility is also used to provide access to abstracts and full text versions of major national and international journals in the field of Law. Live video lectures are also delivered by eminent professors from the world-class institutions to students and faculty members.
