R.T.I POLICY TO FURNISH INFORMATION UNDER R.T.I. ACT, 2005
The management of Sunder Deep College of Management & Technology abides by all the provisions of the RTI Act 2005 and adhere to the RTI Policy as adopted by the affiliating University (Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut).
Following the enclosed Procedure:
PROCEDURE TO FURNISH INFORMATION UNDER R.T.I.ACT, 2005
“Right to information” means the right of access to information by taking of extracts and notes, obtaining photocopies of any record or in any other electronic mode. It includes the inspection of documents.
In order to ensure compliance of the provisions of R.T.I. Act, 2005, SDCMT has nominated Prof.(Dr.) Kavita Saxena, Dean, Academics to act as Public Information Officer and Dr. Bindu Sharma Director SDCMT to act as 1st Appellate Authority.
Procedure to furnish information shall be as mentioned below:-
1. Submission of Request:
A person who desires to obtain any information under R.T.I. Act, 2005; shall make a request on prescribed application form with a postal order of Rs. 10/- or deposit Rs. 10/- with the Accounts Department on account of fee and specify the information to be required under section 6 of R.T.I. Act, 2005
2. Disposal of Request:
Prof.( Dr.) Kavita Saxena as P.I.O will do study of the application and shall do needful to ensure that required information is furnished within 30 Days. In case photocopy of any record is demanded by the applicant, he/she shall be asked to deposit cash at the rate of Rs. 2 per page of the. Documents required on deposit of cash, photo copies duly certified by P.I.O. shall be provided.
3. Submission of 1st Appeal:
In case information is not provided within 30 days or applicant is not satisfied with the information provided, applicant shall be free to make a request in writing in English or in Hindi in official language to Appellate Authority Prof.(Dr.) Dinesh Agrawal, as Appeal under R.T.I. Act 2005.
4. Disposal of Appeal:
The appellate Authority shall give patient hearing to appellate within 30 days and pass speaking order in respect of disposal of Ist appeal so that request of appellant could be met out In case appellant is not satisfied he or she shall be allowed to avail facility of second appeal by making endorsement in the decision of the appeal.
