GUEST LECTURE

Sunder Deep College of Hotel management (IHM Ghaziabad) conducted a Guest Lecture on Future Career aspects of Hospitality industry on 4th February, 2023. The lecture was conducted by Ms. Monika Bharti, Asst. Manager Training & development, The Latit, New Delhi. Session started with the introduction of the hotel. Students have been acknowledged about the different outlet of the Latit Suri hospitality group, working areas and the environment of the organization. The director Prof.(Dr.) Harveer Singh gave a vote of thanks to the guest’ for delivering such an interesting and learning session which impart the knowledge and serve better to the society.

Guest Lecture on Facility Management

Guest Lecture on facility management on 28th January, 2023. The lecture was conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Vohra, Director, Reliant Facility Management Pvt. Ltd., Noida. Session started with the introduction on Facility management. Students have been acknowledged about the subsidiary part of hospitality management that is incomplete without hotel management. The director Prof. (Dr.) Harveer Singh gave a vote of thanks to the guest’ for delivering such an interesting and learning session.

Guest Lecture on Bridging the Gap between industry and Academia

Several researchers have highlighted the fact that there is a huge gap of training between academics and hotel industry, in order to develop skill and knowledge as per requirement of hospitality industry, one day guest lecture as Training program on the topic “Bridging the Gap between industry and Academia” for students and Faculties. The lecture was delivered by MR. Ahmad Mehdi, General Manager (Learning & Development) centre of excellence Tourism and Hospitality.

GUEST LECTURE

Guest lecture taken by Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Lobby Manager Le’ Meridian New Delhi on “Career Opportunity in Hospitality Industry”. He is an Alumni of The Oberoi’s Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD).

SESSION ON WINE SERVICE

As a special academic activity, the BHMCT students are provided session on Wine Services as on 14th October 2019. Students are taught about opening of a wine bottle, using of right wine glasses, Wine Pouring and Wine Sniffing etc.

SESSION ON BEER SERVICE

Special Beverage Service Session focusing on Service of Beer was organized for BHMCT students with an aim to teach them hotel industry standard alcoholic beverages service procedures on 07th October 2019. Students learnt all aspects of beer service including the right beer pouring methods.
